I've spent the last quarter century driving software strategy and execution for companies of various sizes and stages from seed-stage startups to established public companies. I've worked for companies that were VC-backed, PE-backed, self-funded & public, seeing them through acquisitions, mergers, IPOs & various rounds of funding. I've been an IC, an executive leader & everything in between.

Throughout the years I've gathered a whole lot of opinions on a whole lot of things. Some will be uncontroversial (but insightful!). Some will be unpopular. And some might be downright heretical to at least a few people. But before you bust out your pitchforks decrying such blasphemy, hear me out. I've got 25+ years of receipts to show that will back up my theories so I'm not just talking out of my ass, and if you start feeling personally attacked, it mayyyyy be time for a bit of introspection. I mean, I don't even know you. Probably? Anyhoo... I guarantee that nothing you read here will directed at any specific person. 😬... OK so that may not be completely true, but said person(s) would never deign to read my blog, even though they probably should 😏.

With all that, I hope you find what I have to say thought-provoking (or at the very least - amusing). My goal is to start a conversation - not to get everyone to agree with me -  so join me as we slowly unpack my cluttered ADHD brain to get down to the nuggety goodness. It'll be worth it. I promise 🫶🏼.
